allen mcneal was born in 1749 in ireland and so was his wife mary beaton born unknown and died unknown. their son john mcneal who was born on march 29 1779 in county down ireland was married to mary riddle in 1804 and he died sept 2 1854 in iberia morrow county ohio . john and mary had the following children and 5 in all. mary was born jan 25 1785 in washington co pa and she died in aug 10 1846 in iberia morrow co ohio.
(1) martha mcneal born oct 1 1805 in washington co pa and married on june 14 1845 to william braden b 1891-1925 and she died in 1886
(2)joseph w mcneal born june 26 1807 in washington co pa and married in marh 14 1833 and died feb 9 1844 in iberia marion co ohio
(3) allen mcneal born june 17 1809 in washington co pa and he was married 3 times and he first married on marh 27 1845 to agnes nancy struthers and he married his other wives later in life and they were rachel brownlee and isabel frater. he died july 1 1883 in iberia morrow co ohio
(4) james mcneal was born feb 10 1821 in washington co pa and he married on august 12 1846 and he died nov 18 1892. his 2nd wife was jane linn
(5) mary jane mcneal born august 22 1823 in washington co pa and she married thomas allen struthers on jan 14 1846 in iberia morrow co ohio and she died jan 25 1906 in iberia morrow co ohio
